Gorgeous Black Mountain clay = fabulous stoneware! combined with the wax resist method, where I paint faces and flowers on the surface of the clay. This gives the piece really excellent contrast between the dark clay body and the gorgeous glaze and colored underglazes.

I love to put potted orchids in these pots!
